THE AUSTIN INTERNATIONAL FOLK DANCERS (AIFD)
Include Breton, Scottish, and Irish dances in their dance feast (among others). The group meets

THE HILL COUNTRY HIGHLAND DANCERS
Founded in Austin by Susanna Ross in 1983. Classes offered several days per week in Austin.
Beginner thru premier; children thru adults.

THE SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCE ALLIANCE
The Scottish Country Dance Alliance meets Sunday evenings, 7 - 9 PM at
Quicksilver Dance Studio on Polaris (off of Burnet Road, 2 blocks south
of 183). Now in its third year, all levels of experience in Scottish
country dance welcome. We don’t teach, so no complete beginners 
.
Visitors (1st session free, $3 thereafter) and prospective members
($10 per month dues) will find a warm welcome and a fun, relaxed
atmosphere in which to enjoy the dance. Self led group, with

AUSTIN SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCE SOCIETY

Teen - Monday afternoons
Intermediate and Advanced - Tuesday evenings
Beginners - Thursday evenings 7 - 9 PM
All classes are located at Quicksilver Dancers, 8711 Burnet Road (at the back of the business
center). The first class is free. Cost after the first class is $35.00 (or sometimes $5/class). Come alone or with a
partner. The Society has monthly social dances, many with live music. For information call
